I know the tweets are saying nothing structural for either player, but until the MRIs come down tomorrow, none of this resonates with me.

McClains ok probably means he's out for the next 4 games.
With Crawford being out, prepare for the corners to get lit up because QBs having even more time to throw.

You mean our corners haven't been getting lit up?
Carr is terrible especially given his contract. Cardinals cb's are much better.

Oddly enough, with the way Coleman played early, and having Bishop on the PS and Brent coming back, the possible injuries to both interior DTs this week wouldn't be the end of the world.

Hitchens played a heck of an active game today. He gave me some hope for a lineup with him and McClain and Carter from here on out. But we've just got Wilber left and then are really grasping if we lose another LB. Fingers crossed on that one, because even a week or two will compromise the defense.

Its too bad Hitchens' perfomance will be overshadowed by the loss. I have more confidence in him now to help stop the run.

It is. I don't know what his stat line ended up like, but you can tell he's getting more comfortable, and faster as a result. He looked like Juggernaut to me early in the year, only without the mutant powers. Just inflexible and capable of running forward in whatever direction he was pointing in. You can tell now that he's reading plays quickly, and he's a solid tackler. It's pretty fun to see. And I wasn't a fan of the pick at all when we took him, because I liked other players at his position better who were still on the board.

The past few weeks of shown some fracture of our defense. Against the run, we're doing great, but in terms of generating pressure and limiting the pass, we're getting slaughtered.

I think Crawford's injury will be worse than a sprain.

I noticed that Wilber and Hitchens were both on the field together before the injury to McClain. I think Carter was out when they were both in together.

I was buying into Walterfootball on Hitchens being a bad draft pick this year, but so far this year, he has played average to good in all but 1 game while having to learn 3 different LB spots on the fly. I think next year we will have a good problem of having too many LBs if Lee can stay healthy and we can resign McClain.

:(Clearly I'm almost too drunk. As if that's possible. But I'm sort of getting tired of this bs luck with our team. There's a continuous theme.

Colt McCoy had an absolute fluke career game. Romo is injured. Durant too.

Writings on the wall for carter . He's playing his last season as a Cowboy
