IRVING, Texas -- While the NFL will look into the recent visit by Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and offensive coordinator Adam Gase to Alabama coach Nick Saban, the visit Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and coach Jason Garrett made to see Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski did not raise an eyebrow. According to a league spokesman, the trip to Durham, N.C., was not considered football related and in a “social gathering.” Romo, tight end Jason Witten and running back DeMarco Murray were in Jerry Jones’ suite at AT&T Stadium with Garrett for the NCAA basketball championship game as well but it falls under the same discussion as the Duke trip.
