EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Observed and heard in the locker room after the Dallas Cowboys' 31-28 win Sunday over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium: Eight is not enough: The Cowboys won eight games in 2011, 2012 and 2013, missing the playoffs with Week 17 losses in each of those seasons. With five games to go the Cowboys are 8-3 and in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2009. And they have a quick turnaround with the Philadelphia Eagles visiting AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving.
