IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys lost one of their more trusted veterans when the team decided to release defensive tackle Jay Ratliff on Wednesday. Ratliff had forged close relationships with several players during his nine seasons in Dallas. "You know, it’s sad not to happen here," defensive end DeMarcus Ware said. "But I just know at the end of the day, for a player to have the opportunity to be on the market and playing and still do the things that he does, I think it’s always a blessing.
