News: ESPN: Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

Interesting that you may or may not be allowed to be an employee contractor and a fan at the same time.
In my day players were heckled all the time I watched many a game at Old veterans stadium.

Being called embarrassing was the least of your worries there as a player.
I know it's quite a kinder and gentler kitty cat type of League now.
But that guy didn't use any foul language or say anything degrading he just spoke the truth as a fan.

And Dak should have just taken it like a man and walked on.

Just glad that I got to watch the real Dallas Cowboys never heard Roger Staubach be called embarrassing.

I'm glad that guy spoke out he echoed and anthem that many of us felt and got to say it right to the leader.

And one thing you can guarantee is that that will echo in his head and 60 or 100 million won't buy it away that somebody just had the guts to tell him about himself.
Maybe nothing comes of it...many misunderstand my take. In today's world it's to easy to offend and while that employee may not need the job, some of his coworkers might. If Jerry cans the contractor, many of them will be without that extra money.

You're acting like he spent days planning it.

He's likely a diehard fan like many other fans and he just happened to be in the right spot at the wrong time and let his emotions get the best of him.

The fact that a contract worker cared enough to risk his job by telling the 240 million dollar quarterback how embarassing that game was says a lot though.

Good to know how you view people though and that you're more than happy to remind them to know their place.
IDK .......I see what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure EVERY worker, employee and/or contractor is advised that communication with players and/or coaches is off-limits unless they are approached. Pretty sure they are also warned they could lose their job.

Having said that, I wouldn't expect players to be so thin-skinned as to let routine comments from emotional fans get the best of them.

Dak is a fragile baby if that comment itkrd him that much. Wake up Dak. You and your team were an embarrassment. Take ownership you coward

The guy’s union will protect him! So leave him alone. Or someone gets metaphorically speaking buried under the stadium.

He’s trying. When the coaching sucks as bad as it does, he’s helpless. HC knew that they were going to blitz on just about every play and had nothing prepared to counter it. Nothing.

You liked the Shottenheimer hire and tried to sell this board on him.

I agree, Dak blew it up...still shouldn't have been said by an employee

Dak can quit with the virtue signaling. That performance was embarrassing. He’s not excluded from that at all.

Blame the defense all you want. Multiple picks in plus territory. 16 points.

I'm sure they'll add it to their employee handbook ..

"Be sure not to say anything mean or critical to players .. they have very weak egos and making them cry might cost you your job!"

Any STADIUM worker is. My brother worked EMT for some sports events...and they are told no interaction.

But a driver for some VIP might not apply.

Dak should do the opposite of what he says and NOT speak his mind because every time he does he sounds like a bigger idiot.

He's not wrong the Cowboys are embarrassing but he also forgot to say pathetic, unprepared, and poorly coached.

No, because if I allow my employee to say whatever he wants, others will do the same. He is a reflection of me...if I get fired, it would jeopardize the jobs of any of my 96 assistant coaches....have you ever been a boss or run a business? I hired over 40 men, just to build my apartments a d my homes....dam right, they better say, yes sir!
Yep, regional vp of ops....and I got here by listening to the feedback of my peers and employees on ways to make things better, and doing something about it...and it wasn't always delivered in a way that was gentle or how I wanted to hear it. I've fired plenty for insubordination, but never for criticism. Guess I just have thick skin
