Yeah, pretty much. This "fine him $10 mil" stuff is funny. Jerry makes that back in one day on jersey sale commissions.Jerry will find that in his couch

Not faulting anyone, that is a whole different subject, I just find it ironic that the more players the NFL suspends, the more money it makes. Just like printing money.
I honestly don't think the team cares overmuch about the suspensions. We're basically missing 6 games (I refuse to count losing access to Shaquelle Evans as a negative). That's like, what, a bad high ankle sprain to somebody in terms of the impact of time on the field missed. In return, you get to take some long-shots on some talented but troubled guys who might work out for you.
$500k is another matter, though. That's pretty steep. I thought it was a $250k fine last year, and I thought that was steep.
I don't understand why Moore shouldn't count against the Seahawks if Evans counts against Dallas.
Crazy, when you think about it...Yeah, pretty much. This "fine him $10 mil" stuff is funny. Jerry makes that back in one day on jersey sale commissions.

Nah, I don't think so, dude. Not that kind of team violationIts a fine that counts against the cap is it not?
That is nothing for the Cowboys.$500k is another matter, though. That's pretty steep. I thought it was a $250k fine last year, and I thought that was steep.

The fine may be meant to teach a little humility. Put a little extra guilt on the player. It might make a difference. Probably not.I'm curious what role you guys think ownership has in the off-work activities of its employees?
This isn't the military. It's professional sports, played by adult men. They're going to do what they want regardless of what you all think Jerry should or should not be doing.
Unless the NFL increases the fines dramatically and tie it to the teams salary cap, Jerry won't change!
