The Cowboys will host their annual draft party on Thursday, April 22 at Cowboys Stadium. The event is free.

Doors to the $1.2 billion palace open at 5:30 p.m. Fans who attend the event have a chance to meet Cowboys' players, cheerleaders and mascot Rowdy.

Fans can enter through the East Plaza and park in lots four and five for $5.00 per car.

Now, get this, the event will also host the audition for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dance Team.

Tours of the stadium will also take place for $12.00-per-person. Kids who show up have a chance to participate in the Cowboys Camps for Kids for free.

For more information on the party, call the Cowboys at (972) 556-9900.

I wonder with the draft being a 3 day thing now is this thing gonna run all three days?

There is going to be a riot if everyone shows up and Jerry drops out of the first round. The second round and third round aren't until Friday.

The other Rowdy was fired, I think and the new Rowdy is not allowed at the stadium on game days.

He'll still be at special events.

Wouldn't be special without him would it? :p:

We really need a game day mascot.... We need a new Crazy Ray though I don't think anyone could live up to that expectation. I would much rather have a human mascot that a costume hollow-head one.

The NFL really screwed up that when they decided to move the draft to a freakin' THURSDAY...

I agree, it should have been Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.... Makes more sense that way, So bars could get the business all three of those days.

Exactly....

draft is all screwed up this year.....no one is gonna want to go drive down I-30 at 5pm , or go stay out at a party on a Thursday night, and if Jerry does trade out of the first round ....(that would suck)

Roger Goodell needs to just stop trying to re invent the wheel

I am still confused.

As a fan where are we going to sit in there?

Is the videoboard going to be on? Are we going to be able to go in and sit down in a stadium seat and watch it up there..

It doesnt say where it is, unless it is outside in the party lot. The party plazas make sense because of the stages and multiple tvs.

its usually at the arlington convention center or the house of blues.

Im throwing a mini-party at my house. No alcohol because im cooler than you, hence why only 6 people will showup.

Cowboys hosting draft party
The Cowboys have announced that they will host an NFL Draft Party on Thursday, April 22nd at Cowboys Stadium. Doors will at 5:30 p.m.

Fans will at times be able to listen in to the Cowboys war room with owner Jerry Jones, head coach Wade Phillips and coaches and scouts.

The Cowboys say there will be contests and promotions and stadium tours will also be available during the event with tickets costing $12 each.

Fans who want only to attend the draft, however, will be admitted free.
