OXNARD, Calif. -- The Dallas Cowboys are searching for depth for their depleted cornerback corps. The team visited with free-agent cornerback Charles Sawyer but will not sign him, a source said. The Cowboys are currently practicing without four cornerbacks. Starter Brandon Carr isn’t expected to report to camp until the weekend due to the death of his mother. Morris Claiborne, who is competing for the other starting role, has missed the last three practices due to tendinitis in his right knee.
