Good to see Romo, Austin and Witten lighting it up out there.

Don't like reading that.

for some reason romo passes to roy or either behind or high. Is Roy running faster then he looks or is he running the wrong or poor routes. What ever it is we need to get this worked on. These two should be clicking by now.

Because it only happens with RW11, it has to be on him. He is not where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there. They never connect when the route calls for any type of timing. If you pay attention, I'd say 90% of their completions are some type of crossing route where Romo can see exactly where he is and lead him with a perfect pass. Other than that, theres no chance. It has to be RW11 because Romo has no issues with anyone else.

Romo is behind Roy on a lot of those crossing routes as well. In fact, it seems like more often than not he is behind him and/or high.

You guys beat me to it. It has to be Roy. He simply is seldom where he needs to be when he needs to be there.

And I'm really getting tired of it. I can't remember a QB and WR having such "poor chemistry" after having spent only a fraction of the time these two have been together. And yes I'm also sick of hearing about the poor chemistry.

Come to think of it, I think I am now firmly entrenched on the "cut Roy's *** now bus". Enough is enough with this guy.

He runs faster than he looks - long strides that make him appear slow. Kind of like the optical illusion of a curve ball in baseball appearing to come in straight at the batter despite breaking away because of the ball rotation.

Romo is frequently behind the receiver on crossing routes, no matter who the receiver is. I don't know if he has a problem leading receivers in that situation or if he is throwing the ball where it can't be intercepted. I lean toward the latter.

I just don't think he's very good at it honestly...

I've noticed that as well. I don't think the crossing patterns are one of Romo's strengths.

I really don't see a problem with Romo's throws to any other receiver...but definitely with Roy.

I believe the problem has already been identified. Roy gets lazy with his routes at times and can be very inconsistent. Imagine how hard it must be for a QB to judge the timing in that situation...You never know if he's going 100%, 90%, 80%...Or if he's going to make sharp cuts or sloppy ones. I wholeheartedly believe that Roy's inconsistency is a major factor in their inability to find a rhythm.

The interception off of Wittens foot in the 1st Giants game last year was a prime example. The throw was way behind him.

I might agree with you that Roy doesn't run the best routes, but on crossing patterns Tony throws behind a lot of receivers.

If Roy was that bad at routes we would have heard something from the coaches and people would have seen the coaches chewing on Roy during practice. And we have not. Romo DOES throw behing the WR (whoever it is) on crossing routes.

I also think brody is trying to say something about romo w/out saying it.

I'd like to see two lists.

One with all the crossing patterns Romo completed last year. That would be a long list.

The other with all the outs that Roy caught last year. That would be a very short list.

Not sure who is at fault for roy and romo not being in synch still.

But I know roy williams did a terrible interview sunday night. He basically was complaining that romo doesnt take any of the blame and that romo never talked to him in 08 and that they had no relationship, but now they play video games together and its getting better.

All I know is I am glad espn 1033 doesnt have the audio from that interview or is choosing to make no big deal of it because it would be all over espn that roy is blaming romo etc..

I was actually dissapointed in williams. I have blown off most of his stuff, but the interview sunday was kind of bad on his part. I am glad no one has it floating around to push for attention.

He was on the Lunch Break today going on about how great his day would be if Kitna was the QB. I seriously can't wait till this scrub bombs out again and is as far away form this team as possible.
