IRVING -- The Cowboys finished up an interview with Miami Dolphins assistant coach Todd Bowles on Wednesday and it appears no more are scheduled for the day.

Bowles said of the nearly two hour interview: "It went good. I was grateful for the chance to come in here and they thought enough of me to come in here and interview and that was good."

I wouldn't expect him to say anything different. There's still several HC jobs left to fill in the league, and he would be wise to keep himself in the running for at least another interview for one of them.

The Cowboys also are in the market for a defensive coordinator. Asked if he was interested in that job, Bowles said he was focused strictly on becoming a head coach.
