Ware wanted to wait until after the Pro Bowl, which he played in earlier this month, before having the procedure.

Ware, who led the Cowboys with 11 sacks and led the NFL in quarterback pressures, battled through injuries for most of the year. He sustained a severely sprained neck against San Diego on Dec. 13 and was carted off the field on a gurney. Despite the belief that he would miss two games, returned to play the following week vs. New Orleans.

Ware also suffered from back stiffness, a chipped bone in his left wrist and a stress fracture in his left foot. However, he didn't miss any games and finished the season with 57 tackles and five forced fumbles.

I have a chipped bone in my left wrist and it is not fun. His can't be as bad as mine because for a while I couldn't use it.

Maybe it could have been as bad but I couldnt even put my hand in my pocket or pick up anything over 5 lbs without excruciating pain. It was probably a broken arm because I felt my arm snap and buckle. I had it x-rayed a few months later and it showed a chipped bone in my wrist.

any gomer moron criticising Ware for this season needs a barbed wire baseball bat shoved up where their brains are.

There's no way he could have played with what I had. It was probably a broken arm I just never got it looked at.

You would know if it was a broken arm.

It would crunch when I squeezed it with my right hand, but I was still able to move it. Maybe fractured. I just know it was pretty much useless for a while.

It's amazing he made it thru the season without missing any time. Ware is a warrior and is well worth every penny Jerry is paying him.

:lmao2: you and Ware:lmao:

I'd make a good outside linebacker opposite Ware IMO. I kept working at my job too. Whenever Spencer gets tired I could fill in.

Chip usually suggests fracture.

Bone spurs are often more a site of irritation causing bony overgrowth to occur in compensation.

Very different things.

I've got some overgrowth where they said the chip was.

you probably did break your wrist.

I wouldn't be surpised if you didn't tear a ligament as well.

If you haven't had it checked in awhile, you should because these injuries can lead to later wrist arthritis in life if not detected.
