IRVING, Texas -- As Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was piling up 100-yard games earlier in the season, he was asked about breaking the NFL’s single-season rushing record. His answer was largely the same: Just win, baby. That’s what he cared about and 2,000 yards seemed a long way off in September and October. With three games to play Murray has 1,606 yards. While breaking Eric Dickerson’s mark of 2,105 yards seems too much to ask for, reaching 2,000 yards might be within his grasp.
