Dez Bryant and offensive line coach Bill Callahan were engrossed in a fascinating discussion after practice ended Saturday afternoon about the technique Jerry Rice used to catch the ball. They were talking hand placement. Bryant, like most receivers, makes a “W” shape with his hands with his thumbs touching when he catches the ball. Callahan said Rice used to hold one hand under the other when he caught the ball.
