Didn't put Romo-Austin in the top 5 for QB-WR duos... that just makes NO sense...

No other duo has been as productive since Austin became a starter. People keep sleeping on Miles Austin. Does someone have his receptions and yards per game (when playing with Romo) I think the numbers were absolutely ridiculous.

I don't see why anyone here should give a crap about ESPN lists and Rankings.

I saw the do this about two weeks ago. It was hard to argue who they put up.

Calvin/Stafford
Rodgers/Jennings
Welker/Brady

I forgot who else made the list. But this was Steve Young and Jerry Rices list.

Austin and Romo have only played 20 games together (as starters), spread over 3 seasons. They were together for only 6 of 16 games last year and 2 of 4 this year.

The per-game numbers are impressive: 6 for 99 and 0.8 TD. But I can easily see how they would be left off a top 5 duo list at this point.

It's a never ending battle with fans. I don't get why people want espns acceptance as if it's worth more than their own opinion

I don't see it as a problem they weren't in the top 5. In the equivalent of a full season (the last 16 games the Cowboys have played), Romo and Austin were only in the lineup together 4 times.

Take a coaches / players poll. That would be quite a bit more meaningful.

Asking ESPN opinions about players and teams is like a hedge fund asking a crack addicted hobo to be their quantitative analyst.

If I actually watched or listened to ESPN I would be outraged!

:grrr:

Noooooo I'm crying tears of sorrow right now...I hate it when we don't get our due. It's just not fair, this has ruined my day now :(:banghead::mad:

Yeah, that big. mean anti-Cowboy conspiring media did it to us again. Roger Goodell probably told them to.

Don't see why you'd take offense to this. A lot of Cowboy fans wouldn't put them in the top 5 either.
