ESPN Disses Dak in Ranking

Without even watching the video, I think it's pretty easy to make a case for 14 QBs better than Dak.

I don't think so. If Montana lost the significant players around him like Dak did, he too would have regressed.

Daks a middle of the pack q.v. let’s not be biased because we’re cowboys fans. He’s the black Phil Simms.

...so what? That doesn't have anything to do with the fact that there's still 14ish QBs who can make an argument that they're better than dak

Who were the significant players Dak lost in 2017? Zeke for 6 games and Tyron for 2? Does everything have to be perfect for Dak to perform? C'mon, if that's the case then Espn got it right by not having Dak in the top 14. Franchise QB's have to step up and carry the team (at least a little) when everything is not going right

No QB not even Tom Brady would have lasted behind that crap OL we put together late last year. Let him have Chaz Green blocking for him and see how long he lasts.

Like i said Tyron was out for 2 games not the entire season and only one of the games he missed was really bad for Dak (yes the Chaz Green game), but what about the rest of the time?

He was shell shocked. He's a young QB and he was hearing footsteps. You can ruin young QBs by doing what was done to him. I blame that on the coaches.

please stop
Stop what? I was yelling it at my TV during that game. Up until then Dak was playing well. You put a young QB and constantly pound him in the ground it's going to affect him. People want to judge him against a 10 year veteran.

Dak had some average games before that. Denver was easily his worst.

In my opinion the best move the NFL can do is not count quarterback salary against the cap. This would leave a lot of room for teams to do all sorts of crap. Even build monster teams. It also allows teams to have more than one capable QB on the roster. Every team is not like the Eagles, lose your starting QB and it's over. Who wants to see that? Was it exciting to see a Houston collapse when Watson went down? Or when Carr went down for the Raiders? All was lost for both teams and they tanked. Nothing exciting about it.
