IRVING, Texas -- Anybody who has followed the Dallas Cowboys knows that the end of the regular season has not been kind to their team. It’s not just a Jason Garrett thing. Or a Tony Romo thing. Jimmy Johnson had three winning regular-season records in the months of December and January. The six coaches that have followed Johnson -- Barry Switzer, Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Bill Parcells, Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett -- have four in 20 seasons.
