New England made it public.

Came out and accused the Dolphins.

Also watched the tape and it did "seem like" they knew the offensive line's protection.

Turn it up

A Palm Beach Post report yesterday indicated that the Dolphins bought game tapes with sound in an effort to decipher Tom Brady [stats]’s pre-snap protection calls. “I think that helped a lot,” Miami linebacker Zach Thomas said.

But Belichick refused to dole out blame in the wake of the worst performance of the season by the passing game.

“I thought Tom handled the looks that Miami gave him as well as any game I’ve ever seen him play in,” said Belichick, and that, “for the most part, the protection was OK.”

I saw the Saban PC. He was very nonchalant about it and just said they were available. No big deal. Saban is a very good coach.

No more cheating than watching video of your opponents, I wouldn't think.

Miami's complaint has no merit. We're not talking about a stolen playbook or something. We're talking about observing Brady's actions in public. It's no different than seeing how a lineman gets in his stance before a pass or run play.

I dont see why its such a big deal... Teams watch film anyways.. even high schools watch film on their opponents and gameplan. The only difference is that they had audio, from what they said.
