IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys right tackle Doug Free is recovering from right ankle surgery. Free had cleanup surgery on his ankle after the season and is expected to be 100 percent before the offseason program begins in April. Free did not miss a snap in 2013 in what was a bounce-back season after he agreed to a pay cut to $3.5 million in the offseason. After committing 15 penalties in 2012, Free had eight in 2013 with only two holding calls.
