IRVING, Texas -- While Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett expressed hope Doug Free would be able to practice at least some, the right tackle was not on the field during the portion of the session open to the media. Free missed the final two games of the regular season with a bone spur issue in his left ankle. Jermey Parnell would start Sunday against the Detroit Lions if Free is unable to play. Quarterback Tony Romo is following his normal routine of sitting out Wednesday to rest and rehab his surgically-repaired back.
