Honestly, reading up on Mr. Miller, I'm surprised his salary was so low with ESPN. That said, I make assumptions like everyone else.

That said, in my eyes, Mr. Miller is just a kid. Thing is, that "kid" isn't making millions upon millions playing pro football as a 23 year old.

I was just curious why someone would start a go * u n d me page for a guy in his position that made me look at his age and estimated salary. I worked a crap load of hourly hours with overtime, but it wasn't until my late 30's when I made salary and still work the same kind of hours LOL

A quick update: The surgery to remove my left arm was successful with hopes of an eventual prosthetic replacement. Similarly, the femur and patella surgeries were also successful and the fantastic surgery team was able to save my left leg.

To best focus on my healing and recovery, I’m stepping away indefinitely and will be placed on leave from ESPN. Thank you to all for the prayers and thoughts; please keep them coming.

Thank you Jesus! Glad he's alive. Our son was in a wreck and his vehicle looked like this. In his case, he suffered severe injuries, one of which involved removal of a section of his large intestine. Two ICU stints. When life happens such as it does, it sure makes one reexamine everything from a brand new perspective. One day at a time is no lie. God Bless him and his family.

Total guess, I think he had his head buried in his cell phone.

Well, it wasn't a head on collision, and you could see the truck try to swerve to the right at the last minute.

Video won't help on his insurance claim.

Either was sleepy or was distracted by his phone etc. Hate it, glad nobody got killed. He's blessed that it wasn't worse for all involved.

Long story short, last year our son installed a video camera in one of our cars.

I actually kind of like it because if something like this does happen (auto accident), the camera is basic proof that either you did nothing wrong and perhaps you did. I figure the day I decide to take it out is the day someone gets in front of me, and backs up into me claiming that I hit them LOL

Funny enough, last month I was riding with my son's friend on a short drive from the house when he totaled his brand new car (just him and me in the car). He had a camera in his car. All I will say is he is blessed that I know what it was like to be 21 and stupid, and I was pretty easy on his mistake even though I got a pretty good scar out of the deal, added it was so new (3 days old) that his memory card hadn't come in yet for him to put in his new video camera for his car.
