I've never understood the point of the "Offensive Player of the Year" award.

Since the MVP is always an offensive player, shouldn't the MVP logically also be the OPOY?

Bill Williamson picks Romo as MVP and Tom Brady as OPOY... what gives?

And when 1 of 16 ESPN staffers thinks you'll be able to squeak into the playoffs before getting ousted (while Dallas wins the NFC), you have plenty of offseason ammo to talk tough with.

lol I can think of a few uber hyped Commanders teams, that didnt exactly do anything.

As I recall the team two years ago was supposed to make the next step and win the super bowl.
