IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said Thursday he wants to see receiver Dez Bryant do some football moves on the practice field and study the All-Pro receiver's latest bone scans before letting him play in a game.
So Bryant can lobby Garrett as much as he wants, and it's not going to have much impact.
Bryant has missed five weeks and four games with a broken foot and receives regular bone scans that reveal the healing process.
"Those are the facts," Garrett said of the scans. "When you look at the bone: Is this thing healed? Does it look better than the one you got last week or two weeks ago? All of those things are positive for him."
