IRVING, Texas – Tiger Woods has withdrawn from three of his last nine starts on the PGA Tour because of a bad back, and it has led many to wonder if we are witnessing the end of one of the most dominant athletes in the history of sport. Woods lasted just 11 holes in the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open on Thursday before he could not withstand the pain anymore. He couldn't get his back loose after a couple of weather delays. “It's just my glutes are shutting off,” Woods told reporters before leaving Torrey Pines.
