IRVING, Texas -- J.J. Wilcox has been a safety for only three seasons. He has had to learn the job on the fly, since the Dallas Cowboys took him in the third round of the 2013 draft. Even though he had a career-high 15 tackles against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving, Wilcox was displeased with how he played. He was too aggressive, out of control and not in position. In the three games since the 33-10 loss to the Eagles, Wilcox’s play has been much better.
