INDIANAPOLIS -- Jason Garrett has always been an offensive kind of guy. He played quarterback. He coached quarterbacks. His reputation was made as the Dallas Cowboys' offensive coordinator from 2007-10. He continued to call the plays as head coach from midway through the 2010 season to the end of the 2012 season. With Scott Linehan on the staff in 2014, Garrett is out of the offensive game planning. In his make or break year, the former quarterback will spend most of his time with the defense in 2014, according to Jones.
