So in a little over 4 months we will see if he is out there on the field for OTA's Will the nerve have completely healed by that time, or will he still wear the brace. Or will the team hold him out for precautionary reasons.
But 4 months is a long time still to be 100%. He just may be there by that time.
But if he is even 80% on the nerve, he may still play. I played sports wearing braces, before and after my Achilles operations. And yes I had foot drop too and nerve issues. Non-competive but I still played, and was almost at my good playing level, just not as fast, and this was mid 70's, as to where medical surgeries and he has the best doctors, have improved a lot.

I say he will be out there for sure by TC.

Until I see him suited up in at a preseason game I won't believe it, as it stands, its a wasted pick, this defence needed all hands on deck.

Thanks for sharing. That is encouraging that you were still able to play. He says that he is at 4.5 speed as of right now, which is still tremendous speed for a lb, and believes that he can play even now. So even if he doesn't reach 100% recovery, he should still be able to make a positive impact. I'm still hoping for 100% recovery for him though.
