IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right elbow on Thursday, according to a source. Mincey played in every game in 2014 and led the Cowboys with six sacks. The surgery is more of a clean-up procedure and is not expected to trouble him for the offseason program that starts in April. Right tackle Doug Free will undergo surgery in the near future to remove bone spurs from his left ankle as well as clean up a stress fracture that knocked him out of the Cowboys’ final four games.
