IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Friday he thinks guard Brian Waters is ready to start. Waters made his debut last week and shared snaps at right guard with Mackenzy Bernadeau after more than a year away from the game. Waters said his play was so-so and he needed to work on his footwork in the run game. "He's played just really good and he can help us," Jones said on KRLD-FM Friday morning. In practices this week, Waters continues to share first-team snaps with Bernadeau, but he normally begins practice with the second team.
