IRVING, Texas -- Jerry Jones is the eternal optimist, as we all know. The Dallas Cowboys defense will be without DeMarcus Ware (offseason release), Jason Hatcher (free-agent defection) and Sean Lee (torn anterior cruciate ligament), but the owner and general manager sees a defense that will be better in 2014 than it was in 2013 when it finished last in the league in yards allowed. Why? "Because we were so bad last year, there's no place but up," Jones said.
