News: ESPN: Jerry Jones not concerned about Zeke timeline

Jerry will figure out a way to supplement Zeke's income through his business ventures and keep it off the salary cap.

Like the Patriots do with Tom Brady and TB12.

jerrah seems kind of out of it , as of late .
 
Why would be he concerned? Hell, half the team could hold out and he'd still make the most profit and he doesn't have to be concerned about job security as he works for the man who loves him the most.

There’s no Charles Haley to throw a helmet through the wall to get Jerry’s attention this time either. Not to mention there’s a salary cap now...

Dez? He signed Dez. When they cut Dez there wasn't no deal to get done. Murray wasn't a priority in 2015. You know why? Because Dez was. They never said they were confident in getting a deal done for Murray. In fact, it was the opposite. They put out a lot to the media hinting a deal wasnt likely to get done.

With all that said, Zeke is one deal I hope he doesn't get done. Unless it's a HUGE team friendly deal.

The salary cap coming in 94 was the reason/excuse jj used as to why he couldn't give Smith the contract he wanted in 93. Of course, going 0-2 made him find a way. Lol

Not likely, he's looking for an agent/Elliott friendly deal.
 
Zeke isnt in talks with Dallas. With no guarantees Zeke will try to play the bare amount of games possible to get a years credit. 6. He'll be back week 12 if the Cowboys can win without him. If Dallas can't win without Zeke then Jerry will cave.
 
if he wants to win he better get his act in gear this team wont win more than 5 or 6 games without zeke
 
When asked tonight if they have any update on Zeke, Stephen said with a laugh "no, I guess they don't want to talk right now".

Now that could just be not negotiating in the media but it would not surprise me whatsoever if Zeke's other goal besides getting a new contract is avoiding training camp.

This guy is dead to me. So dead.
