OXNARD, Calif. – Tony Romo ’s first full-pads practice of Dallas Cowboys training camp came off without a hitch Saturday. It was Romo’s first extended action since undergoing back surgery last December after he was kept out of competitive drills in the spring. Romo did not take part in Friday’s afternoon workout in which the offense did not go against the defense so he could gear up for his first 11-on-11 action. “I thought Tony threw it well,” owner and general manager Jerry Jones said after the practice.
