OXNARD, Calif. – Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was on radio silence before and after his team played the San Diego Chargers last week until Sunday. While the defensive performance was disconcerting -- 395 yards allowed, 152 rushing yards, Chargers quarterbacks completed all but two passes -- Jones did not believe it was a flashback of what plagued the Cowboys' defense in 2013 when it finished last in the league. Jones mentioned two rookie draft picks that caught his eye in cornerback Terrance Mitchell and linebacker Anthony Hitchens, but the fundamentals bothered him most.
