So you don't go over the roster and access every players value to the team, trade value, talent, contract status etc. Hmm i wonder why we are at where we are at.

Here is how I view it. Jerry leaks information saying one thing. Then he comes out and publicly says the opposite. He'll try to do something and if he succeeds and it matches the rumor, he'll take credit saying it was a strategic move and hopes he isn't called on his lie. If it doesn't match the rumor, he'll say "I told you so" about his public declaration. If what happens doesn't match the rumor, he'll again say "I told you so." That way he always gets credit and paints himself in the best possible light.

That's how he's operated for years and how he'll operate until he's six feet under.
