Lost or not.

3-7 is 3-7.
Interestingly enough if they end up 5-12 the overall outcome will be no different compared to the 12-5 seasons. There never was any real perspective for this team. They were just able to hide it well behind stats against bottom feeders and garbage time.

It's so funny how the homers now use the injuries as excuse for the outcome of this season.

The first 12-5 season could be filed under "development", but from the 22 season onwards it was clear where it will end. Any individual talent that might have been there was wasted by a QB who couldn't even lead a donkey to a well in the desert and an owner who won't fill up his staff with a true GM and coaches with some backbone.

Injuries is not their problem. It's their reason why they lose so badly, but it's not the root of their problem.
We were winning before the injuries. We got blown out by New Orleans, that’s what happens when you don’t have a backfield. and Detroit they’re blowing everybody out. Even with Cooper Rush we were in the game in the first half until a couple of stupid calls.
The problem is the GM, he’s just can’t evaluate players. He wants flash when you need to have big ugly in the pits. Until we fix the lines we’re not winning anything consistently.
I never wanted McCarthy, but he’s not the issue, he’s not helping, but he’s not the issue. You can only work with what they give you.

Does every article about GM Jerry have to lead off with the 90's super bowls? Its as if the media has forgotten he didn't build those teams.

When even the Exorcist laughs, you know the fail is bad. Epic bad.

This season went down, when the injuries started occurring. Everyone knows you win the game in the pits, three rookies on the offensive line lost three starters on the defensive line. What kind of season did you expect. Cooper Rush under center lol.
I still love watching the games you can see who wants to play and who doesn’t. These things have to happen every so often. You fight through the university. I’m not a quitter. I don’t think the team is either. It is what it is.
this season went down in the off season. when Jerry said all in and yet didn't sign any FAs until the 4th and 5th wave of FA. signing Zeke over henry. and the rest of it.

Players are mostly trying. But half the wr's on the field aren't cut out for the NFL, same with the corner acks being forced to play

Revisionist history right there. This season was over during the off-season and had nothing to do with the injuries. With a full healthy team they were going 8-9 this year at best.

If you want to argue the semantics and say the team would have been 8-9 or 9-8 vs 4-13 with cooper, fine. But this team was going down this year because of a lot of bad decisions piled together in the last few years.

I don’t think they like Zimmer scheme either that they just can’t get a grasp of it
I think part of it is that Quinn was a very aggressive defense and Zimmer is more reactionary with his bend-don't-break focus.

Quinn's aggressive defenses were so consistently aggressive that good offensesive systems could use that to their advantage letting the defense take themselves out of making plays if well executed.

Zimmer's passive defenses are so consistent that any team with fast skill players seem like they are running at 2x speed compared to Cowboys defenders no matter their 40-times.

Give me the high draft pick over the Wild Card loss any day.

If Mike stays on he will need a great offensive coordinator to call and scheme a playbook. Jerry should hire Jimmy Johnson or Troy Aikman or both as GM.
