IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent suffered a calf injury at the end of Wednesday’s practice and is not practicing Thursday. Brent played 22 snaps and had two tackles in his first game in two years last week against the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys hope Brent can be a difference-maker in the run defense this week against the Philadelphia Eagles after allowing 256 yards in the first meeting on Thanksgiving. Quarterback Tony Romo returned to practice on Thursday as he has followed the same schedule he has used since the second game of the season.
