ESPN: Knee a big issue? Glenn says Cowboys want injury settlement signed

Like Red Ball, it's hard to believe he's still even on the roster. I really like Terry Glenn and what he has given to this team, but his career is over. I guess the fact that he is still on the roster tells you how worried Jerry Jones is about finding someone not named Crayton to start opposite T.O.

Both sides have a point but Glenn needs to understand that the Boys HAVE to protect themselves somewhat better then they did last year.

I think anyone who is counting on Glenn is delusional.

I doubt many fans who know the team just a little bit aren't counting on TG. Just really, really hoping. All this doesn't change a thing about his knee. But it sure throws a big wrinkle in it all.

Honestly, I really like TG and I hope that he can go this year, but he really shouldn't be complaining about this after Jerry paid him all year last year for absolutely nothing.

I don't blame Jones in the least for wanting this. It's smart on his part to ask for this. I understand why Terry, personally, doesn't wish to sign such a thing (no one wants to potentially sign away money) but in the end I just can't blame Jones for asking. It's a business and this is the best business decision for him.

Jones said recently that newly acquired cornerback Pacman Jones might be asked to play some wide receiver next season, a sign that Dallas might not have full confidence in Glenn's health.

I said this statement was dumb then, and it's just as dumb now.

The deal they want Glenn to sign still gives him his 1.7 mil this year, it just allows them to pay him $500,000 if they cut him after the year. I don't know why he would feel betrayed, if that's how he indeed feels.
