Harris is Green Bays version of RW - Half the fans hate the guy while the other half thinks he's one of the best at his position.

I think he is a good corner back. I don't think he was one of the top two guys in the league this season. He wasn't even the best corner back on his own team this season.

Al Harris being on the list and Leonard Davis being off are the only two big issues I have with this. Harris is just not that good, I don't get all the love he gets.

As with all these sorts of things, it's kind of arbitrary to pick the best at positions when so many are close. 16-0 buys the Pats a lot of these awards type things, and I actually like that he added 3-4 positions and things like slot receiver and slot corner, which have become critical positions in the current NFL.

My first thought was "two? Only two?"

Without looking at his list I was thinking TO, Witten, and Ware have to be 3 logical choices. Who would he leave out? Has to be TO and for what has to be a stupid reason.

Welker?

He's kidding right?

Um I'd take TO as a slot WR over Welker any day of the week. Heck I'd take him as a WR over Wayne. Welker shined alot because of a guy named Moss who was drawing alot of double coverages and he went underneath and did alot of the little things.

That is the first time I ever saw slot receiver listed on any writers "All-Pro" list. Guess they had to add another Pat. Oh, and good choice on Wilfork, I may need a knee broken during the game and he's just the guy to do it.

Although, according to FO.com, Green Bay's success rate against #1 WRs was #5 in the NFL. I'm sure Harris had alot to do with that

Football Outsiders had Al Harris ranked among the bottom 10 in yards allowed per pass through Week 13 (possibly minus a few games that hadn't been charted yet). Their comment was, "We love Al Harris, but he’s had an off year even while the team around him is soaring, and that Pro Bowl selection was a lifetime achievement award."

All-Pro? Hardly. Nnamdi Asomugha was MUCH better this season. So was Newman, although his injuries probably keep him off the All-Pro team.

Andy Lee (San Francisco): He had an amazing 42 kicks inside the 20-yard line and only 13 touchbacks. That 4-1 ratio was among the best in the league and,

Lee deserves this spot, but Pasquarelli is way off here. Four other punters had a higher percentage of punts downed inside the 20 -- they just didn't punt it 105 times, which led the league by 10.

And 42-to-13 isn't a 4-1 ratio, it's a 3.23-1 ratio. And it's nowhere close to being "among the best in the league" -- it ranked 21st! (Daniel Sepulveda was 14-to-1, Mike Scifres was 10-to-1, and seven other guys were at least 5-to-1.) In fact, Lee led the league in touchbacks and was fifth-worst in touchback percentage.

Tnew doesn't deserve to be on. He missed a few games and has not been that good the last few weeks.

FWIW, I was wondering which All-Pro teams were the most prestigious. The "Big 3" All-Pro teams are the ones chosen by the Associated Press, Sporting News, and Pro Football Weekly. A player who makes at least one of these three teams receives the designation "All-NFL."

Roy made the AP and TSN teams in 2003, and so was the last Cowboy who was All-NFL.

The last Dallas player to make all three teams in the same year was Larry Allen in 2001.

I agree w/ the poster who said that they would take TO as a slot receiver over Welker, we use him there too, and unlike Welker, TO doesn't have to play the slot exclusively to get open

that, and I would take Ratliff over Wilfork, he's been more active in the backfield, and stronger against the run

I definitely agree with the poster who said he was making up new positions to put on the roster to get more pats on the team, it was pretty wierd. Also putting Al Harris on that list is pretty egregious.
