How much tougher is it for offensive tackles on the road than at home?

"What?" Wade Phillips replied, drawing courtesy laughter from reporters.

Hearing the snap count away from the comforts of Cowboys Stadium is a serious issue for veteran left tackle Flozell Adams, though. Crowd noise can be especially problematic for Adams because he is partially deaf in his right ear.

Adams hasn't allowed a sack in four home games this season despite facing a few elite pass rushers. But he's allowed three sacks in the last two road games. Adams, who has seven penalties this season, was also flagged three times (two false starts, one hold) during the Cowboys' overtime win in Kansas City.

Phillips said the Cowboys have recently adjusted the way they call the snap counts for road games. The loud crowd at Lincoln Financial Field will present a tough test Sunday night.

The joke only drew courtesy laughter but was apparently cute enough for Timmy to lead his article.

Could this guy try any harder to be too cool for school?

I dont see it as trying too hard. You have to find a good lead somehow.

Adams is mostly deaf in his right ear, why don't these mediots ever bring that up? Ideally, he would be a rt, but we don't have the personel to make that happen right now. I think Adams is a great tackle w/a disability, so I'm not as hard on him as other posters. This guy is still a top 10 tackle, if we could acutally draft a lt with game this wouldn't even be a problem, blame the gm not the player.
