Tashard Choice is taking up residence at the locker closest to the entrance to the shower area at Valley Ranch -- the position formerly occupied by Terrell Owens.
The Cowboys' healthiest running back, however, is not taking over Owens' demands to get the ball more. But Choice does talk to the Buffalo Bills receiver frequently.
"We talked about working hard in practice so it can carry over into games," Choice said. "He just tells me, 'keep working hard, little buddy' -- and that's what I'm trying to do."
I agree. Barber doesn't run as hard as he used to and is nothing but an averge back now.DaBoys4Life;3020475 said:I don't think barber runs as hard as he used to before he got paid. I think we gave him too much money. I also think he's average at best ad a RB.

The Denver game? Also, he had a great game vs Pitt last yr on the road, but wasnt he the one who fumbled that pitch on the short yardage play that cost us a first down?
He always makes the best of it and against good defenses.
Again, the Denver game?
He's also the most complete back out of the 3 RBs.
I like Choice alot, but he is not as well rounded as Barber as right now. Barber is the better short yardage runner, the better receiver and the better blocker. The team does feed off his energy when he's healthy.
But he should get the ball a lot more than he does regularly.
Right now with 2 of them hurt, no question.
If all 3 are 100%, it probably isnt going to happen here.
Long term I would say I'd rather see them commit to Choice rather than Barber because I do like his upside more and eventually (if it isnt already happening) Barber's ferocious style of play will lead him to breakdown, ala Earl Campbell.

They won't last like the former ones did. Not in my opinion. But I do think they are superior RBs. All three. Just not elite. Now Jones may become an elite RB. The other two don't have the talent to be elite. And Jones may not be durable enough.
We'll see. Until then I think we should be happy we have three NFL starting quality RBs on the team. All three bring something a little different to the table. That's a good thing.
They all should be getting touches. It'll prolong their NFL lives and work to the good of the team.
