It's tough for me to critique Wade Phillips' coaching performance in the Pro Bowl for two reasons:
1) Defensive scheming is basically outlawed by the all-star game's rules.
2) I fell asleep at some point in the third quarter.
However, ESPN 103.3's Randy Galloway insists that the NFC's loss should count on Phillips' permanent record. In Galloway's world, Phillips is now 1-6 in the postseason.
That seems a bit harsh to me. If we're going to include the Pro Bowl on Phillips' postseason record, we ought to at least let him count that 2007 bye week as a win.
