Someone else said this...apologies to the poster...but the offense is a reflection of the limited skill set of our QB. Dak "likes" the intermediate/short pass with an occasional well-timed chunk play. Welp...Dak can't consistently execute unless he's hot...so the offense goes into a tank.

Scheme/meme...the problem is the personnel. Pick your lipstick and put it on this pig...but it ain't turning into a model. It's a pig.

I am LOLing at your post but I can't get my mind off how FUN the Jerry stuff is right now. Everything else pales in comparison and I'm not sure it has ever been close??

Can we stop talking about how high the offense was ranked the last two years when every, single big game against a team with a good defense, the offensive scheme fails.

Mike's offense is as dated as Jason Garrett's was.

This team needs a young OC. Preferably form the Shanahan tree.

It's boiled over into a fever pitch. Jerry was so overtly defensive...anticipating angles that the questioners weren't even taking...it told me the emperor has no clothes. He told them that IF they were going to go over his faults, they FIRST had to praise him. Tale-tale sign of being in a bubble...and I don't think it's been fully burst yet. SF might do the trick.

This is more than a MM issue; yes, his scheme is archaic by modern NFL standards, but what has Jerry given him to work with…a bus driver QB masquerading as a franchise QB, no bell-cow RB and a diva WR who sulks and checks out of games?
And what about Dak? Where is his leadership? Jerry is paying this due $60MM a year to be the leader of this team. All this talk about WRs running poor, lazy routes, so why isn’t Dak getting in their faces and holding them accountable? This is a failure at every level.

No coach can win in the environment Jerry has created this season........the article overlooks the last 3 years of 12-5 seasons. Just me, but if we brought all players back from last season, held off on extending Dak AND signed Derrick Henry we are a legit Super Bowl contender this season. Yes, I think Herny could put us over the top.......

Old owner, old coaches, old systems on offense and defense.

In trying to build a winning team, Jerry and Stephen value experience over skill. I think they eschew any kind of 'modern' or 'innovative' schemes because they simply can't understand it (an actual GM would of course). That's why everything is so vanilla.

How often does Turpin or Brooks who must be singled up go deep , loosen up the defense.

One play in Pittsburgh stands out as a positive it was 3rd and 6 and the Steelers were expecting pass , Dowdle to Daks left took the pitchout went wide got more then enough for the 1st down . Mix things up MM .

Even though SF has been banged up I bet they get healthy Cowboys week .
