Witten was my first thought. I haven't cared enough to watch the SD games, but I have a hard time believing Gates is playing any better than Witten right no in the passing game. Let alone in his blocking. Unclear how we have the #2 offense in the league and only our center makes this squad.

I'd really like to start a Witten for Pro-Bowl campaign. Most of these "experts" don't even take blocking into consideration for TEs. They just look at the flashy stuff you see on Sports Center. Witten blocks far better than Gates ever will.

He also forces teams to design their gameplan around him even though we have other receiving threats (and San Diego does not).
