ESPN Mosley 02/22 Chat Wrap: Cowboys like CB Aqib Talib alot

Maybe he talked to some of our scouts or front office personel.
I just doubt they'd be making their minds up already. They might be intrigued by him because of his size. That's not the same. For all we know they may have Cromartie's name already written on a card to turn in April 26th.

I only caught two Kansas game this year and unfortunately for Talib, it was two games where he got absolutely torched. One of which was the KSU game in which he covered Jordy Nelson. The other was the Nebraska game when he covered Maurice Purify.

Nelson - 10 catches, 137 yards (13.7 avg), 1 TDs

Purify - 7 catches, 158 yards (22.6 avg), 3 TDs

Both Nelson and Purify were solid B12 WRs, but neither of whom you would consider world beaters on the next level.

Needless to say, I find Talib EXTREMELY overrated.

He seems to be a make it or break it player. I watched him get torched in the Nebraska game and it wasn't pretty. He made Reeves look very good in comparison.

I get what you're saying Hos but really how much is proven at the combine for solid players?

As long as they perform about where you think they will they don't move up or down that much. Scouts, front office personel, etc... have three to four years of college game film to say whether they really like someone or not.

Just my $.02.

I think an interview with the team can prove a lot actually.
