NEW YORK -- Before I make my weekly predictions, let's take a look at what our experts came up with for the NFC East games:

All eight panelists predicted the Eagles to beat the Falcons on the road. I thought at least one picker would break from the pack and go with the home team. I think everyone's worried about Chris Redman against this Eagles pass-rush. And I get that.

Beast prediction: Eagles 24, Falcons 13. I think Asante Samuel will return an interception for a touchdown and this games sets up well for Leonard Weaver and LeSean McCoy. I think they'll both find running room against the Falcons and that will set up at least one deep touchdown throw to either Jason Avant or Jeremy Maclin.

One brave panelist is picking the Skins to upset the Saints. Step right up, Seth Wickersham. And I don't think he's crazy on this pick. The Commanders have kept competing week after week -- and the return of Albert Haynesworth could really help this team.

Beast prediction: Saints 28, Commanders 17: It's not going to be easy for the Saints, but they'll eventually pull away. You simply can't hold this offense down all afternoon. At some point, Drew Brees will get it going.

This is hard to believe, but seven out of the eight panelists think the Cowboys will beat the Giants in the Meadowlands. Wow, how far the G-men have fallen over the past seven weeks. I think the desperation factor will be in effect for the Giants. But if the Cowboys can withstand that initial push, they have a good chance to get a win.

Beast prediction: Giants 27, Cowboys 21: Those games against the Packers and Skins are still fresh in my memory. The Giants are going to stay back in a Cover-2 and try to keep everything in front of them. I have a feeling they'll be tracking Miles Austin's every move as he returns to the area where he grew up.

This is a game where Roy Williams needs to step it up. There's no doubt that they'll be keying in on Austin, and rightfully so. This would be a great time for Williams to start earning some of that $45 million.

Meh...I say play a dump-down game. Majority of the catches should be had by Witten, Bennett, Choice, Jones, and Barber.

If they stay in cover-2 like genius says they should and will, then we will run on them and take the dumps all day and win in a blow out.

Our defense is going to shut down Sheli.

Why? There's nothing wrong with expecting more out of a guy like Williams whom we gave up a lot to acquire. He's going to have to step it up eventually and it's not like he hasn't been open quite a bit this season. he simply isn't coming down with balls that you'd expect any WR to catch, especially one of his "caliber".

You can sya that again. I guess Albert E missed our first game when we ran for over 200 yards. I'd like to see them try to stay in a soft cover-2 and defense our running game with 7. Oh please!

That's why I don't think they will stay in Cover-2. The Giants are determined to not let Dallas run over them like last time.

I think we'll see a good mixture of coverages, but Austin will probably not get anyone one-on-one opportunities. In fact, I would be surprised if New York mans up Williams, doubles Austin and tries to eight-man the run game almost exclusively on first and second downs.

Ball control. It's going to be cold, potentially windy, maybe wet. Grind out the clock on long drives, get a lot of YAC-type routes going, make them play pursuit a lot. No need to try and play this one like a game of Madden. Just get the win, keep our defense off the field as much as possible.

Let's see, Dallas is Mike Tyson this week.

The Giants are going to be Glass Joe.

Felix Jones is going knock them out!

We should only be so lucky. Witten will have a career day with eight in the box.

The Giants DB's have been horrible lately I'm not worried about them stopping our passing game. The Giants offense won't get 3 touchdowns are you serious omg. Anyways I see the cowboys winning 21-10

No, eight will be used when Witten stays in to block. When he goes out on a route, at least one goes with him.

I think the Giants will have the strong safety look run first then cover whoever comes off the line. That gives Witten the advantage, but the Giants want to shut down the run.

We'll also likely split Witten out wide some to force New York into a seven-man front.

I just don't believe the Giants will play much two-deep zone because of our running game and a lack of respect for Williams.

Great stay in that cover 2 defense with seven guys in the box , so we can run it all day against them. If we play well tomorrow then I could see us winning big real big!!

You are no doubt a Texan. Love how you represent Texas with all the Texas jerseys. Nice job. I miss Texas so much. Cannot wait to get back in early February to visit my family and friends.

Mosely is an arse. He was probably the only panelist to pick against the Cowboys. Fine by me. Keep rolling Cowboys. The East is yours if you decide to take it.

They remember the Commanders against us, but not the Eagles agains the Commanders. Selective memory? Who really cares about these morons at this point.
