The folks at T.G.I. Friday's nationwide office have come up with an interesting concept for Sunday's Giants-Cowboys game. If one of the punters in the game, Mat McBriar or Jeff Feagles, boots a ball off the scoreboard, everyone in the bar will receive free green bean fries. And honestly, who doesn't wake up on Sundays craving fried green beans?

In a response to T.G.I. Friday's announcement, a sports bar in Mansfield, Texas (just south of Arlington) called Fat Daddy's said patrons will receive free chicken fried steaks if either punter makes contact with Jerry Jones' massive HD video board. Nothing against green beans, but that sounds like a better deal to me.

Mosley is conflicted.

I saw in one of the threads that there will be 4 more added video screens. I wonder if they will be for that purpose?

I still have mine out there. The Giants are looking to spoil home opener, perhaps their punter will try to hit it just to put more pressure on Jerry to raise it.

I am not worried at all; as a matter of fact, I pledge to donate $5 to Cowboyszone for every game a punt hits the video board during live play. (starting this weekend, lol)

Yeah, if you were so confident you'd move that decimal over a few spots.

How much have you made in donations?

Can't remember.

Pretty sure I made one last fall......

Or maybe that was for the paver.

Either way, it was only a joke when I said to move the decimal over.

any punter should be fined for hitting the board in warmups and any writer/announcer should be fined for mentioning anything about the board

SHUT UP ABOUT IT!

It's all good. I usually call people out on that because some people think the amount of the bet/donation determines everything. For instance, those that will try to enforce their opinion on other by betting on it. You'll accept it, recommending $20 or something and they'll say 'You call that a bet? Make it $500' or something similar thinking they can try to bully you. You then accept it and they say 'Yeah, right, I'd never see that money when I win' OR they just never pay up when you actually win.

People that focus on the dollar amount are usually the ones that don't pay up themselves either as a bet or donation. My wife and I donate 10% of our yearly salaries to our church as well as several other charities, so donating a sizeable amount to a liesure activity is hard for my wife to swallow, lol.

Nobody's getting any free food on Sunday.

McBriar's not going to hit that thing and Feagles doesn't have the leg anymore to hit it, even if he wanted to.
