What, those guys never went three games without a sack? Heck, without even trying very hard I found a three-game stretch where Taylor didn't record a sack, and he had two other two-game stretches in the same season.

Does that mean Mosely is an "idiot" for pointing it out?

Someone did the film breakdown for the Giant game and Ware was single blocked on over half the plays vs. them, and for the most part he barely sniffed Eli.

Something just looks off.

Ware got good pressure last night, despite limited opportunities. Mosely's observation strikes me as casual and stat-based. Three games, no sack is nothing to worry over, and I think Ware deserves a pass for the TB game.

You don't think they double-teamed DWare last year when he was destroying QB's?

Someone ealier posted a good comparison about DWARE... last year he was so fast off the ball, the Refs thought he was off-side and this year he just seems slower, not up to speed.. Maybe the Cowboys best pass rusher is injured, but Ware has not yet, beat the coverage of the Bucs, Giants, or Carolina, even when matched one on one, They chip block him, and he seems to give up.

DWARE is the one of the best at his game, but in order to be paid like the best you have to play like the best......especially in a contract year.

He's put up the numbers his entire career.

The past three games are an anomoly.

That's my assumption as well. He started turning it around last night somewhat. I expect we're going to see a big game out of Ware, soon.

Someone needs to remind Mosley that Victor Butler had two critcal sacks in the closing minutes of the game because Butler faced single block coverage, becuase two other linemen and the backs in the backfield were solley keying on stopping Ware. Yeah, I suppose they stopped him; so well so, that they gave up 2 sacks from the other side.

Actually Ware was single covered on at least one of those sacks. He looked tired (unlike Butler, who had a nice burst). Ware did push his man back into Delhomme on the last sack, but he was singled.

Absolutely! The more knowledgeable you become of the game, the more you realize how much these media guys speak out of their ***** and that they indeed know less about the game that the casual fan. Even though it is their profession.

Yeah because Ware wasn't getting double-teamed and chipped last year.

Face it, Ware is not playing well right now. It's that simple.
