You should know.

And as for Chuck Norris in front of the Texas flag, stop it.
CHUCK NORRIS IS NOT A TEXAN!
It's sacrilegious for him to suggest he is.
Give him a Missouri flag or wherever he was born.

I agree completely, I honestly don't get why they need a nickname anyways.

the only nickname I want to see is "focal point of the offense"

Best part about Mosely is that he is notorious for skimming message boards and 'borrowing' material. He would call it 'gauging perception from the fan base' but I call it stealing.

If you're reading this Matt, you're a nerd and you are on my list of people that need to be kicked in the shin with Skip Bayless, Timmy Mac, and most importantly Jen Floyd Engel.

Am I the only person that read this line? You hear that, Jason Garrett? I know you're out there. Might want to change your handle in the comments section because "Princeton 17" is sort of obvious.

Did he really just accuse Jason Garrett of not only reading his work, but commenting on a message board?

Newman gift rapped a Roy Williams pick against Carolina back in the playoff bobble game.

Thats the problem with many media writers. They simply look at stats, yet then try to create a solid logical argument.

My roommate tries to do this all the time, when he hardly watches sports. He just see's the stats on ESPN.com and tries to get in debates with me, who actually watches games.

Needless to say I destroy him everytime.

Yeah. That was weak. Congratulations to the guy who called him out about it and challenged him about his statement. Samuels is one of the best zone cornerbacks in the NFL, and Newman is one of the very best man to man cornerbacks in the NFL.

Mosley, like most in the media, apparently, looks at only interceptions when they judge a cornerback. It's the mentality that puts players like DeAngelo "Toast" Hall in the Pro Bowl. That is part of what the media does. They look at one measure of a cornerback and don't analyze the other aspects of measuring the position or the two players or how they differ or how they are used or how they can affect the outcomes of games.

Terence Newman can help win football games by shutting players down, and he might not get an interception (see Steve Smith, twice, ect...)

By the way Newman has 20 interceptions to Samuel's 26 interceptions, and Newman hasn't been camping in cover 3 or cover 2 zones like Samuel did in NE. Plus, Samuel played on a mini dynasty and had the opportunity to play in numerous playoff games and Super Bowls. Why should Newman be penalized for that in a debate?

Why is it Newman's fault that Eli Manning wouldn't even bother throwing at him in the divisional game, after Newman played a major role in holding Burress to a 1-5-0 day at New York (in November)?

Samuel can thank the Patriots' cover 3 and cover 2 schemes for allowing him to camp out close to the sidelines and jump all those routes.

His biased against Roy Williams is a joke.

How many games has Hakeem Nicks played?

Oh, yeah. 0

Jason Peters is the ultimate now, but he gave up double digit sacks last year.

Nice...

Where is Derrick Ward?

Oh, yeah.

He's in Tampa Bay.

If Felix Jones only gets 10 carries per game, someone should be fired.

I think he will get close to 15 carries per game or more.

Chris Johnson averaged 16.7 carries per game last year, and the Titans wanted to draft Felix Jones.

Johnson rushed for over 1200 yards and made the Pro Bowl. He played at 202 and finished up at 194.

Smash, Dash, and Tash is dumb. Tashard is pronounced Ta-shard. Not Tash-ard.

-Roy Williams is thin?

-Interceptions mean everything for corners?

Reyna C. from Houston is curious about a former Red Raider: Brandon Williams and Jason Williams: Is Jason a freak and future starter or a glorified special teamer? How is he progressing? I'm a Texas Tech grad and I'm very interested in Brandon Williams. Will he make the team?

Mosley: Quite a few scouts around the league were caught off guard by the Cowboys taking Williams early in the third round. But the Cowboys love his athleticism and they envision him challenging for a starting job in his second or third season. He's an explosive player, but he's really raw at this point. As far as the Red Raider, I think he really hurt himself by coming out a year early. This guy had a chance to become the most prolific pass-rusher in the Big 12 his senior season. But he declared for the draft and then ran a solid 40 time at the combine -- for an ESPN.com blogger. That 4.95 tag will follow him around for a little while. But when he adds some strength, I think he'll be a serviceable outside linebacker. I don't see him as a starter, but he could be a valuable special-teams player.

Yes, Brandon Williams' combine 40 time will really follow him around for a while now that he's been drafted and is already on a team.

Not only that, Mosley basically said Brandon Williams would have been a great pick if he had stayed in school another year, but since he came out early (and probably because the Cowboys drafted him) he's a lousy pick.

I have to laugh at the part about samuals in the post season. Notice Mosely does not mention the dropped INT that would have won the SB for the pats. ANd most of those INTS came because the other team was several TDs down and just had to heave it up there and hope. BUT hey why let the truth interfere with a good clueless line or two?

First thing I thought as well. Funny how you can pick off so many passes when your rectal wart head coach has run up the score and the other team is throwing from the middle of the third quarter on.

I'd love to have Asante with the Cowboys, but not as our #1. No way, no how. Give him safety help over the top every time so he can gamble and win or lose while the REAL #1 CB in the NFC East quietly shuts down his side of the field.
