The NFL will announce the 2009 Pro Bowl rosters Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET, so let's take this opportunity to speculate on who will represent the NFC East's four teams. I've kept up with the fan voting throughout the process and the results are pretty baffling. I'm not sure Eagles fans rocked the vote since the fans did not have tight end Brent Celek among the top five at his position in the NFC. Now let's take a look at the possibilities from each team:

Cowboys: NT Jay Ratliff, OLB DeMarcus Ware, ILB Keith Brooking, CB Mike Jenkins, Special teams Sam Hurd, QB Tony Romo, WR Miles Austin, LG Kyle Kosier (Don't laugh. I'm told by scouts that he's been the Cowboys' most consistent offensive lineman).

Eagles: CB Sheldon Brown, CB Asante Samuel, DE Trent Cole, WR DeSean Jackson, TE Brent Celek

Giants: QB Eli Manning, RG Chris Snee, Special teams Domenik Hixon

Commanders: LB London Fletcher, LB Brian Orakpo, DE Andre Carter, DT Albert Haynesworth

Pretty remarkable that the Giants don't have anyone in the running for a spot on defense, but I can't think of anyone who deserves to be on there. I started to list Barry Cofield, Mathias Kiwanuka and Justin Tuck becase they've all played well at times.

Let me know if I'm missing anyone. I like the way Mike Patterson and Brod Bunkley have played for the Eagles, but I'm not sure they are Pro Bowl worthy.

Nowadays no one at this stage wants their players to play in the Pro Bowl. That means they won't be playing in the Super Bowl.

I think I heard somewhere that the players representing a Super Bowl team would not play in the Pro Bowl.

EDIT: Never mind I see what you meant. My bad

Jason Witten?

you can thank miles austin for potentially knocking him out. he will probably have 1000 yards, but miles has taken his td's away.

I don't even think half of Austin's have come in the redzone

again proving my point. poor witten doesn't get a chance when austin is scoring from everywhere.

by saying that austin isn't taking tds away in the redzone, its proving your point? where are Witten's redzone looks going then?

Those middle of the field plays to Witten that used to be money just don't seem to be there any more. They tried one last night and it sailed way over Witten's head.

I've got a better idea. Instead of swinging your message board **** around and being a smart***, why don't you just answer a direct question and have a civilized conversation?

also you 'ninja edited.' your post originally said 'again proving my point.' what am I supposed to glean off that?

i added the part after that. i didn't change what was said. took maybe 3 seconds to edit after i posted it.

here is a response to why when 1 member of a team gets td's the other guy doesn't.

how can witten get redzone td's when austin is scoring from across the field? it totally negates a chance for him. how many times have we actually thrown a td from within the 10 yard line? and out of those passes how many have been by austin? if miles was some bum witten would have more touchdowns. for sure miles exploding on to the scene has hurt witten for the pro bowl. he should still make it for having 1000 yards.
