News: ESPN: NFL settles 2011 Super Bowl injury suit

DALLAS -- The NFL says it has settled a lawsuit with a worker injured by ice and snow that fell from the roof of the Dallas Cowboys' stadium during the week before the 2011 Super Bowl. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy on Tuesday confirmed the settlement but declined to provide the terms. Other parties also were named in the lawsuit filed by Severin Sampson, including the Cowboys. Sampson contends he suffered a skull fracture and has continuing medical problems.
