Especially when you watch the replay and clearly see the turf pop up when he plants his foot to do the extension

It's crazy lol he switches hands with no sign of a bobble... Takes steps and your right you see the turf fly up because he lunged.

Pointed out by another poster on the forum in another thread. I thought catch regardless, but seeing that really convinced me of football move, and extending to end zone, not falling to ground in process of " catch"

People know he caught the ball, except for those that hate the Cowboys, (which are many I know) ... and those people will hold on to the "rule".

Which is ridiculous.

It's ugly for the NFL right now and they're going to push this under the rug until it's gone.

They should've thought that over last week while helping keep the Detroit situation on the front burner........after they played to avoid losing

Sanders- "I know every Detroit Lions fans is happy with that call considering what happened last week. #Truth"

Which is true because Lions fans are bragging to Cowboys fans about how we got "Karma" . I mean if that makes them feel better about the fact that they still lost the week before I guess.

I want Blandino asked specifically if extending the football constitutes "making a football move" and if that completes the catch even though you are also falling to the ground.

I think the NFL is prohibiting their networks from talking much about it. They show the replays of the game and immediately start talking about Rodgers. They're being forced to tow the company line. I rarely watch the other show, but I did see Riddick on ESPN say that Dez made a football move and it was definitely a catch.

I think Blanding is not long for this job. After last weeks game and the video of him on Jerry's party bus had a lot to do with his over turning the call.

I can't stand to watch either one yet, nor last night.
What have they been saying?
I just don't want to hear the love fest over GB and Aaron....has Aikman and Buck proposed to him yet?

Was just wondering if all the room not winning crap came up yet.

Cris Carter came on ESPN and took the ref side----which at first surprised me being that he was a receiver and would know a catch, tuck and lunge would look like since he may have done that himself. But then I remembered that being an ex-sheagle, the hate still runs deep. Just the fact that he did not think Dez ever had any control of the ball disqualified his opinion to me. Golic did side with Dez, but would almost apologize for feeling that way.

Look for more NFL broadcasters to take their side in fear of being blackballed.

Totally agree with your post, in particular the bolded part.

Yeah....

Also, I saw a few or more than a few cowboys fans laughing, and telling them to get over it, and enjoy sitting at home. So some have reason to laugh back.

I'm avoiding all media as well. I would like to know what Irvin's reaction was? Anyone?

Amazing to me is that now they're saying that it was the wrong call by Romo to throw it to Dez in that situation. He should have gone for the safe play and tried for a first down.

He was pretty upset on gameday final last night...he directly asked the ref guy about Dez stretching and that being a football move..he was composed and quite which clearly is not Irvin...

Just saw Hasselback, Jaworski and Hodge all of whom lean anti-Cowboys at every turn say it was ridiculous.

Norm Hitzges is going nuts on the Ticket, He is the first to ask the question of how a replay official can overturn the ref on the field's judgement of a football move. He (an I) thought the that overturns had to be conclusive evidence. It was not conclusive so the call on the field should have stood. I wish I had recorded his segment.

Well, when the ball moved, I'm going to assume that THAT was the conclusive evidence they needed. I personally thought it was a catch. Clean as day. Dez was standing upright when he caught it and rotated his body 180 degrees. It wasn't until he got tangled up with the defenders feet that caused him to fall and lose the ball.

Okay, that's what I was hoping to hear.... I think him keeping his composure and pointing out their hypocrisy is the route to go... he must be as sad as we are and especially being the kind of receiver he was... geez...
